A number of equipment types are currently tracked including Biosafety Cabinets, Hoods (Fume hoods, dumping stations, etc), Centrifuges, Freezers, Refrigerators, Autoclaves, and Geiger Counters. Other equipment types can be easily added.

Automated reminders can be setup to notify individuals of approaching events, such as equipment certification expirations and maintenance needs. This can be used to either enable EHS to manage certain equipment and certification needs or to remind laboratories to manage this on their own.
BioRAFT Partners that conduct equipment certifications, maintenance, and repair can be given specific access to only the equipment module to help manage equipment for an institution. This greatly reduces the large time investment of ensuring that all equipment is properly managed while still enabling internal oversight by the institution.
