The SciShield application is used in university and pharmaceutical research centers across the country. This role is based in Cambridge, MA at SciShield. We are on the lookout for an exceptional person who is creative and passionate about planning and implementing marketing programs for a technology company with ambitious growth plans, and experienced at working in a high growth, high energy company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the everyday planning and delivery of SciShield’s marketing and communications
  • Plan and deliver campaigns for lead generation to meet team targets. This role calls for strong organizational and execution skills, attention to detail, and a keen appreciation for the importance of setting objectives and metrics, activity tracking, analysis, and reporting
  • Plan and execute quarterly marketing campaigns to meet targets – Plans include content creation and syndication, email campaigns, direct mailers, corporate and local webinars, trade shows, events, seminars and roundtable thought leadership workshops; channel campaigns, enablement programs, promotions and incentives; customer activities and sales call out campaigns
  • Craft clear, cross-department communications and messages by working across the company. Be the bridge between our team and our target audience
  • Content generation – Ensure consistent production of sales tools, case studies, data sheets, white papers, and webinar content
  • Communications – Distribute content in the form of newsletters, business and service updates, and other vehicles to demonstrate topic knowledge to our company and market sectors
  • Events – Participate in the planning, organization, and management of SciShield’s presence at key industry trade shows and 3rd party events, as well as design and manage company sponsored events, seminars, workshops and networking forums tailored to different market segment audiences and territories
  • Customer marketing programs – Create case studies, win releases, and organize customer interviews. Provide win/loss analysis to support future customer acquisition programs
  • Reporting – Track, measure, and provide reports of progress made, inbound and outbound response rates, contribution to pipeline, and ROI

Essential Experience:

    • 5+ years’ marketing experience with a software or technology company in a marketing manager or director position
    • Demonstrated ability to plan and deliver campaigns and projects through collaborative and multi-disciplinary teamwork
    • Creative thinking that will stretch the boundaries of traditional marketing communications programs
    • Ability to foster and maintain close relationships with sales, software developers, customer support, and management teams
    • Strong communications and interpersonal skills
    • Strong grasp of CRM systems (knowledge of Salesforce.com a strong advantage)

Nice-to-Haves:

      • Experience marketing to Life Sciences companies and other prospective companies
      • Knowledge of scientific safety and compliance
      • Familiarity with scientific laboratories and research

Academic/Certifications:

      • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent
      • Already operating at a senior marketing manager level within the technology industry
