...keeps track of training records, provides reporting, and enforces the training rules.
Conducting training and keeping records is only one part of a proper training compliance. Training Management ensures that everyone is up-to-date on their training.
Setting training requirements:
Ensuring that training is up-to-date requires first knowing who should take which course. Training course requirements can be set either manually or automatically.
- Manual - Choose required training courses per researcher
- Automatic - sets requirements of specific courses for all researchers
- Module based requirement settings
- RAD - RAD enabled researchers are automatically set for the base RAD training requirements.
- BIO - If a user is added to a research project during the Bioregistration process they will automatically be set for biological training requirements.
Training records
The Training Management Module can pull records in from nearly any source. That is, using an existing external training system or the BioRAFT Web-Training Module provides an easy way to integrate training records into the Training Management Module.
- Web-Training Module - use our fully integrated BioRAFT training module (link)
- Existing training system - Use an existing training system for records in conjunction with the Training Management Module.
Ensure Compliance.
- Training Reminders: Auto-notifications of training reminders are sent to researchers. Training delinquency notifications are sent to the PI and/or the Lab Manager.
- Real-time Training Reports: See a high-level view of your entire research center all the way down to the individual researcher's training records. Also allows labs and researchers to see their own training compliance records.
