RAFT Webforms are a step up form traditional webforms. Not only do RAFT Webforms ease tracking of completed forms but they have many more capabilities not seen in many other systems. Most importantly a RAFT Webform is more than a simple way for researchers to fill out a form but a way to capture and process information to maximize its usability.
RAFT Webforms;
- Enable quick and easy completion directly from the BioRAFT system.
- Are automatically tied to the person who fills the form out and to their lab.
- Pulls personnel and lab information already in the system to minimize what needs to be filled out.
- Can be attached to requirements such that PI's and researchers are automatically notified to complete them.
- Can be set to remind the person who filled it out to review and submit it on an annual basis.
- Can drive subsequent requirements such as other forms and training.
- Can be processed through a work flow to enable review, edits, and approval by one or multiple people.
- Information collected can be used for creating detailed reports
RAFT Webforms can be used for collecting basic information (e.g. emergency contact information for labs and researchers) or can be used to drive complex processes (e.g. incident reports with review by PI - EH&S - Administration, follow-up, and final signoff.)
