Installing BioRAFT
Getting BioRAFT setup is easy. It is hosted and maintained on our servers so there is no hardware or infastructure costs on your end. Our security experts make sure that your data is treated with the utmost sensitivty and kept away from prying eyes - an additional headache you don't have to worry about. We will make the initial setup steps for you:
- Add the research center's colors and logo
- Tie it directly into the research center's user directory system.
- Add the individuals that will be overseeing the system (normally EH&S staff and other key administrators)
The next step is for a staff member to import the names of all the PIs in your research center. If you already have this in a spreadsheet or database, we can take care of this import for you as well.
Preparing for Organization
As soon as a labs are entered, the system starts checking if the necessary information is entered. The system then sends out emails to the labs to start populating their information into the system. Common information collected include;
- PI contact info
- Lab Contact info
- Lab and researcher roles
- Researcher contact info
